Common questions
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. Within 30 days we delete your account, profile, selfie and posts. A few records we have to keep, like payment records for taxes, are listed in section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
You can also email us from the email on your account and we’ll delete it for you.
How do I report or block someone?
Tap ••• on the player’s profile, clip, comment or message, then choose Report or Block. We review every report, and we don’t tell people who reported them.
If someone is hurt or in danger at a venue, call 911 and tell venue staff.
A clip of me is up and I want it taken down.
Report the clip in the app, or email us the link. We’ll review it.
My clip is tagged to the wrong player, or my points look wrong.
Report the clip and tell us what’s wrong, or email us the venue, the date and your pinnie number. We’ll fix the tag and the points.
How do refunds work?
Each venue sets its own cancellation policy, and you’ll see it on the game page before you pay. Cancel in the app, and your refund follows that policy. If the venue or Sugarcane cancels a game, you always get a full refund, booking fee included. Details are in section 4 of our Terms.
Why does Sugarcane need a selfie?
Game footage shows pinnie numbers, not names. Your selfie lets our team confirm who wore which pinnie, so your clips and points go to you. Only people look at it. Sugarcane never scans or matches faces.
You can skip it, but you won’t earn ranking points until you add one.
Are points worth money?
No. Points are only for rankings. They can’t be bought, sold or cashed out.
Where can I play?
Sugarcane’s first games are planned for the Chicago suburbs in 2027. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you when games open near you.
I run a venue. Can we host Sugarcane games?
Email [email protected] with “Venue” in the subject and tell us about your drop-in nights.
